National Day of Service
Observed each year on the third Monday in January as “a day on, not a day off,” MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities.
In celebration of the civil rights leader’s life and legacy, the Trust Team spent their day beautifying the communities of Navajo New Mexico and Mexican Springs, New Mexico by cleaning up trash, donating food the the Gallup New Mexico Food Pantry and sharing kind words of appreciation to the Navajo Nations frontline health care workers.
